"Well So far my input would be to give Colonial a good rating as I my old Carrier furnace blower motor failed for the second time after a repair in 2013. I called my local Lowes where the custom installer Dave called the Lowes Recommended heating specialist Colonial and had Josh come over to go over options. Knowing I was in the middle of winter without heat Josh showed up within 30 minutes and gave me a pretty comprehensive idea of various solutions as to cost and features and also gave me a fair price if I just wanted to again fix the old furnace. I decided not to throw good money after a bad 18 year old furnace and opted to go with the top of the line Trane Xc95m with the 950 wireless controller. Josh had his crew over in a timely fashion and did a temp install that day and finished the install as scheduled 2 days later. The install crew of Tom and Josh were very friendly and more importantly went out of the way to make sure not only the job was done right but also corrected a damper issue I was having on my humidifier which would have impacted the overall effieciency of the new system but this humidifier was already installed and not part of their work order. So far so good . Am not sure if I got the absolute lowest price on this deal but I think it was competitive as I compared it to a Lennox unit which was similar and it priced out almost the same.

Anyway if I have a slight issue it would be with the controller and the fact that Trane has no techs on staff to go thru the various menu items and referred me back to the dealer . I will follow up with the dealer to make sure I get my questions answered as the controller set up is sweet and has a very high degree of sophistication to it. I can now control my indoor temps remotely. Oh yes Trane itself doesn't offer a labor portion of the warranty only parts but Josh thru Colonial offered a 5 year labor warranty on top of the Trane parts one. Will issue a final report after I speak to Josh to get my controller questions answered. Am not sure why there are no positive comments on here but I wanted to take the time to give accolades to the install crew of Tom and Josh. V."
